Inspired by Panda Express addictively good orange chicken, the Sun Of a Gun alumni whipped up their own reincarnation of chicken’s guiltiest pleasure. Brined Jidori Chicken thigh is glazed with a tangy reduction of ginger, garlic, chiles, and farmer’s market oranges then sits between doubanjiang toasted brioche bun and topped with Szechuan chili oil spiked ‘Tiger Slaw’ and smashed pickled cucumbers. Oh, what a time to be alive!
